        • Das Verhältnis zwischen Klang, Farbe und Raum steht im Zentrum des Forschungsprojekts «Sound Colour Space – A Virtual Museum». Das vom Schweizerischen Nationalfonds geförderte Projekt ist eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology und dem Institut für Theorie. Das Thema im Spannungsfeld von Musiktheorie, Farbenlehre und Mathematik wird über eine Sammlung historischer Diagramme erschlossen. Diese Diagramme sind Gegenstand der wissenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung und werden zu Exponaten in einem virtuellen Museum. Das Projekt versteht sich als Beitrag zu einem interdisziplinären Forschungsgebiet und erforscht seine adäquaten Darstellungs- und Vermittlungsformen.
          Die Abschlusskonferenz des Projekts lotete den Facettenreichtum der fächerübergreifenden Fragen um Ton, Farbe, Klangfarbe und Raum aus. Sie gab uns die Gelegenheit, unser Museumsprojekt und seine Umsetzung vorzustellen. Darüber hinaus kamen auch Aspekte zur Sprache, die nicht direkt Eingang in das virtuelle Museum gefunden haben.
