I am Alessio Russo and I am part of the University of the Arts Zurich's graduate program, and I am 21 years old and I am of Italian nationality, and I come from a small village in Liguria, called Albenga.
I started studying dance at the age of ten, where I dedicated myself to Modern jazz by taking weekly classes, then later I decided to study ballet, contemporary and modern dance before coming all the way to Switzerland to graduate professionally. In parallel I had a school education in an artistic high school, where I specialized in architecture and interior design. The program of my high school also gave me excellent teachers in the humanities, who aroused in me a great passion for writing, Italian and English literature, philosophy and art history. To this day, I am very connected to these things and try to keep myself informed. So art is a fundamental component of my life, and I like to take pleasure in it through knowledge and curiosity.
During these years in Zurich I have been passionate about marketing and communication, but also in the realization of video projects aimed at promotion and I believe that in the near future I will also try to study in that path for a possible future, once I dedicate the right time to my passion for dance.
I am an insecure person because I always try to question myself to understand what my weaknesses are but at the same time I am also spontaneous and direct about what I think.
