Description	Z-Modul, in Zusammenarbeit mit Heather Barnett, UAL, 2. September 2020 Im Rahmen des zweiwöchigen Z-Moduls «Art + Artificial Intelligence» an der ZHDK, hat am 2. September 2020 ein halbtägiger Workshop mit Heather Barnett (Pathway Leader on the MA Art and Science an der Central Saint Martins University of the Arts London) stattgefunden. Eines der Ziele des Workshops hat gelautet, sinnvolle, neue Wege der Kommunikation und der Interaktion über Distanz auszuprobieren und die Erfahrungen dazu auszuwerten. In konkreten Labor-Situationen hat die Kommunikation dabei eine besondere Herausforderung bedeutet. Thema des Workshops hat die Erforschung von Funktionen und die Suche nach Definitionen von Intelligenz in lebenden Systemen gebildet. Dies ist am Beispiel der SLIME MOULD (Physarum Polycephalum) geschehen.
Description in English	Z-Module in cooperation with Heather Barnett, UAL, September 2nd 2020 As part of the two-week Z-Module “Art + Artificial Intelligence” at the ZHDK, a half-day workshop with Heather Barnett (Pathway Leader on the MA Art and Science at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London) took place on 2 September 2020. One of the aims of the workshop was to try out meaningful, new ways of communication and interaction over distance and to evaluate the experiences. A special challenge was the communication in the concrete laboratory situation. The theme of the workshop was the exploration of functions and the search for definitions of intelligence in living systems. This was done using the example of SLIME MOULD (Physarum Polycephalum).
