- Eine nicht allzu dicke Schaumstoffschicht wird durch Pressen mit einem erhitzten Drahtgitter verbunden. Nach diesem Vorgang kann der Schaumstoff nun beliebig in Form gebracht/gebogen werden.

- Eine Hosenklemme für Fahrradfahrer aus biegbarem Moosgummi ist eine Anwendung für dieses Material, da man es dem jeweiligen Bein schnell und einfach anpassen kann. Das Fugensilikon wird dazu mit Wolle gemischt und daraus wiederum Schnüre werden gezogen. Die so entstandene Silikonwolle mutet optisch echter Wolle an, überrascht aber in der Haptik, die nämlich wie dem Silikon (gummiartig und dehnbar) sehr ähnlich ist.

- Durch 8mm dickes Moosgummi wird 0,8mm dünner Draht gezogen. So kann die Form des Moosgummis verändert werden. Benutzt man es in der Fläche, wird das Moosgummi in seiner Ursprungsform angewendet; wird es gebogen kommt die neue Materialeigenschaft zur Anwendung. Optimalerweise wird das biegbare Moosgummi in Bereichen genutzt, wo man es flexibel und individuell anwendet.

- Ein blaues Stück Styropor und eine Glasscheibe wurden gebraucht. Das Styropor hat eine matte blaue Farbe und eine weiche, elastische und flexible Struktur. Die Seiten des Styropor haben nachher einen sehr glänzenden Spiegel-Effekt bekommen.

- Das Material ist sehr hart geworden, aber immer noch leicht geblieben. Man könnte es zum Modell-Bau gebrauchen oder als Schmuckstück. Die individuelle Herstellung von Kristallimitaten mit sehr leichtem Gewicht lassen sich im Innendekorationsbe- reich flexibel einsetzen.

- Wir gebrauchten den Lötkolben als Zeichnungswerkzeug in Styropor. Wir löteten zuerst von einer Seite ein Muster hinein und dann von der anderen Seite. Entstanden ist ein Muster, das Styroporfäden mit sich zieht und spannende Lichtmomente ermöglicht.

- Die gitterartige Fläche ist lichtdurchlässig. Daher liegt es nahe, das neue Material bei Lichtquellen einzusetzen. Es könnten Fenster damit beschichtet werden, wobei die Beschichtung durch den Lichteinfall zur Atmosphäre eines Raumes beiträgt oder aber zusätzlich auch als Sichtschutz dient.
