Description	Eine genussvolle Verkostung emanzipatorischer Strategien Mon Ch3rix – eine genussvolle Verkostung emanzipatorischer Strategien und an der Schnittstelle visueller und performativer, künstlerischer Praxen entstehende queer-feministische Soirée. Sowohl als Abendveranstaltung als auch als Ausstellung umsetzbar, soll die Show an verschiedenen internationalen Veranstaltungsorten stattfinden, jeweils mit Anbindung an den lokalen Kontext. Vorgeblicher Anlass der Veranstaltung ist ein Tasting. Überraschend erweitert wird der Abend innerhalb eines Raumes, der an eine Bar erinnert, von theatralen und anti-theatralen Momenten des Rollenspiels sowie von transmedialen Darreichungen wie Zeichnungen, Film- und Soundarbeiten und Print-Elementen, die sich alle scheinbar zu einem atmosphärischen Argument verdichten, das den «Mythos Mon Chéri», und damit einhergehend, patriarchale und repressive Mythen dekonstruiert und in einer Feier der Selbstliebe und Süsse mündet. Verkostet werden Getränke und ästhetische Süssigkeiten. Die genauere Betrachtung der alkoholhaltigen Kirschpraline und ihres süssen Geschmacks führt unter anderem zur Figur der fiktionalen Kirschtesterin Claudia Bertani als Startpunkt der Untersuchung der ästhetischen Kategorie der Süsse. Sianne Ngais’ Verständnis von Cuteness als gender-abhängige Ästhetisierung der Machtlosigkeit folgend, fragen die an dieser Soirée versammelten Arbeiten: «Warum werden bestimmte Menschen, Objekte, Bildsprachen als «cute» bzw. «süss» wahrgenommen und welche Formen der Trivialisierung, Repression und des Machtentzugs stecken dahinter?» Statt die Süsse und ihre Symbolik abzulehnen, steigern wir uns bis zu einer explosiven Klimax in sie hinein – «Cuteness» entfaltet sich als Strategie, um das Geschmack- und Machtlose ästhetisch anziehend zu machen. Aus Mon Chéri wird Mon Ch3rix und so mündet der Abend zunehmend in einer Feier der Selbstliebe und einer durch das Format angestossenen solidarischen Begegnung mit unterschiedlichen queer-feministischen Akteur:innen.
