Description	Wie man ein globales Netzwerk aufbaut Methoden: Während der Pro Helvetia-Residenz des Projekt-Teams, die im Januar 2023 von der Indian Sonic Research Organisation organisiert worden ist, haben Dr. Yati Durant und André Bellmont auf Divar Island (Old Goa) Konzepte und Methoden entwickelt, um in Indien das «International Media Music & Sound Arts, Network in Education» (IMMSANE) aufzubauen: 1. Organisation eines internationalen Kongresses in Indien 2024 2. Vernetzung von HE Institutions mit der Industrie 3. Aufbau der Plattform «Distant Creative Collaboration» Sehr bald ist klar geworden, dass die Organisation eines IMMSANE-Kongresses 2024 in Bangalore ein ehrgeiziges Vorhaben darstellt. Als Gründe dafür können kaum vorhandene Ausbildungsmöglichkeiten in Indien, im Bereich der Media Music, genannt werden. Erstaunlicherweise können solche Ausbildungen auch in Mumbai nicht angeboten werden – einer Metropole mit 30 Mio. Einwohner:innen –, die eine enorm produktive und lebendige Film- und Medienindustrie aufweist. Zielsetzungen: 1. Relaunch der IMMSANE Website mit der Plattform «Distant Creative Collaboration» (wird aktuell von Studierenden des «Srishti Institutes» programmiert und gestaltet) 2. Umsetzung des Konzepts «Media Music Seeding Scheme for Future IMMSANE Regional Groups» (wird nicht ausschliesslich in Indien stattfinden, sondern auch in Afrika). Schlussfolgerung: Die Ausbildung im Bereich «Media Music» soll in Indien gefördert werden. Dass Interesse dafür besteht, hat u. a. die «Film Music Masterclass» in Bangalore gezeigt. Aufgrund der Grösse und der kulturellen Vielfalt braucht es hier eine längere Aufbauzeit bzw. ein «Media Music Seeding Scheme», um ein tragfähiges Netzwerk zu schaffen. Der Indienaufenthalt hat dem Projekt-Team geholfen, den Kompass neu zu stellen. Kino-, Museums-, und Konzertbesuche sowie die Teilnahme am «Experimenta» Filmfestival haben Eindrücke hinterlassen, die vielfältige Kultur und die koloniale Vergangenheit abgebildet und die neusten nationalistischen Ausprägungen vor Augen geführt. Besonders bereichernd waren Treffen mit Künstler:innen aus verschiedensten Sparten, mit Swissnex Bangalore, mit dem Generalkonsul in Mumbai, mit dem Intendanten des Royal Opera House im Mumbai Cricket-Club sowie mit Studierenden und Dozierenden im «Srishti Institute» und in der «Bangalore School of Music».
