«Ich glaube, der Spiegel beweist die Dinge.»
Mit beinahe zärtlichem Blick begegnen wir uns tagtäglich: vertraut und dennoch sehnsüchtig. Aus dem Wunsch nach Geborgenheit wenden wir uns einem digitalen Spiegelbild zu: in einem unendlichen Raum, den wir weder fassen, noch ganz erklären können. Was bedeutet es für uns, Mensch zu sein? Und wie begegnen wir Isolation in einer digitalen Beziehung?
Eine interkulturelle, multimediale Inszenierung über Digitalität, Beziehungen, Narziss und Echos.

- Studierende der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste ZHdK bringen die Oper «The Medium» auf die Bühne, den hierzulande wenig bekannten Geniestreich von Gian Carlo Menotti aus dem Jahr 1946.
Ein Paradestück für die integrierte Kunsthochschule ZHdK: Studierende verschiedenster Bereiche – Gesang, Dirigieren, Klavier, Orchesterinstrumente und Bühnenbild – bietet sich die Gelegenheit, in der Praxis zu vertiefen und um Erfahrungen in Musiktheater zu erweitern. Dozierende aus den Disziplinen Musik und Theater teilen ihr Knowhow mit den jungen Studierenden, die Bühnentechnik stellt das ZHdK-eigene «Theater der Künste».

- Die Diplomand*innen BA Szenografie (neu BA Bühnenbild) erarbeiten als freie Projekte Installationen, temporäre Architekturen und szenische Räume für Performance, Schauspiel und Tanz. Am Entstehen sind atmosphärische Inszenierungen eines Gewächshauses, eine performative Demonstration im Stadtraum, die visuellen und auditiven Begegnungen mit feministischen Rollenbildern, die räumlich-atmosphärische Erkundung von Mythen im Netz, sowie ein kulinarisch inszenierter Raum, der zum gemeinsamen Verweilen einlädt. In der Ausstellung „szenographie under (de)construction“ werden Dokumentationen und Fragmente der Arbeiten zu sehen sein.

- The performance «A Day at the Beach» explores the use of 3D audio and projection mapping to achieve a sense of immersion without isolating the participants from the real world; essentially, enabling an imaginary fantasy world come to life. In order to transport the participants into this virtual world, multiple levels of 3D audio and projection mapping are employed (both directly within and on umbrellas, as well as throughout the room itself). The goal is to create exploratory sonic worlds, as well as interactive experiences where the participants’ behaviours (relative to each other and the world) shape the sonic and visual environment. These environments are best experienced from directly underneath the umbrellas. «A Day at the Beach» will demonstrate some early results of the ongoing artistic research project «The Umbrella Project» of the Immersive Arts Space.

Es wurde gefeiert, dass man selber lebt und dass Florin lebt. Jede*r war herzlich eingeladen, Teil davon zu sein und Florin im eigenen Leben zu entdecken.
