Description	Eine grosse Neugierde und ein flaues Misstrauen gegenüber der Fotografie sind die Auslöser meiner Arbeit. Was zeigt ein fotografisches Bild und in welchem Verhältnis steht es zur Realität? Mit diesen Fragen wage ich mich mitten ins Dilemma der Fotografie und begebe mich sowohl sprachlich als auch bildhaft-fotografisch auf die Suche nach Antworten. Ich erprobe fotografische Darstellungsmöglichkeiten und nehme Steine und Geröll als Gegenstand meiner bildlichen Untersuchungen. Die menschliche Haltung und der Umgang mit dem urtümlichen, materiellen Gestein interessieren mich. Die entstandene Arbeit ist der Versuch durch Fotografie über das Materielle der erfahrbaren Welt zu sprechen. Meine Bildwelten sind Ausdruck der Zwiespältigkeit, die ich gegenüber der Fotografie verspüre. Sie stehen zwischen Repräsentation und Kreation, zwischen Abbild und Bild, zwischen Tatsache und Artefakt.
