Description	Wie manifestieren sich Geschichten über Fundobjekte in Grenzgebieten? Die Protagonisten meines Projekts sind in Grenzgebieten gefundene Objekte. Kleider, deren Etiketten entfernt wurden, um jegliche Spur zur Identität des Trägers zu löschen, Turnschuhe mit einem Stück Teppich an den Sohlen, um Fussabdrücke zu verhindern, oder Taschenspiegel, die zum Senden von Signalen dienten, falls Rettung benötigt wurde. Diese Dinge beschwören Geschichten herauf und lassen uns über ihre politische Relevanz nachdenken. Ich sammle diese Objekte und verwende sie in dieser Diplomarbeit, weil ich erforschen möchte, wie sie als Idee in die Welt kamen, wie sie gemacht, benutzt und zurückgelassen wurden. Durch Cultural Probes, kreatives Scheiben und ethnografische Forschung an der Grenze zwischen den USA und Mexiko möchte ich herausfinden, wie sich ihre versteckten Geschichten in ihrer ästhetischen Dimension manifestieren. Als Ergebnis meiner Forschungsarbeit entwerfe ich eine Videoinstallation. Indem ich mit Erwartungen und dem Element der Überraschung spiele, zeige ich eine Reihe von mit weisser Farbe verdeckten Objekten und eine Projektion, wo drei Jungen, die geflohen sind, über die Bedeutung dieser Objekte sprechen.
Description in English	How do stories manifest on foundobjects in the borderlands? The protagonists of my project are found objects in the borderlands. Clothing which labels were removed to delete any traces of the owner’s identity, sneakers with carpet on the bottom to hide footprints or pocket mirrors used to signal in case a rescue is needed. These things evoque stories and make us think about their political significance. Collecting these objects and situating them in this thesis, I want to explore how they came into the world as an idea, how they were made, used and left behind. Through cultural probes, creative writing and ethnographic research at the USMexico border I am interested in discovering how their hidden stories are manifested on their aesthetic dimension. As a result of my research, I design a video installation. Playing with expectations and the element of surprise, I present a series of objects covered with white paint and a projection, where three boys who had fled talk about the meaning of these objects.
