Description	Das 4. Festival der Künste fand vom 17.-18. Juni 2011 an der Ausstellungsstrasse 60 und Gessnerallee 9–13 in Zürich statt. Am Festival zeigen junge Künstlerinnen und Künstler, was sie können: Design, Kunst, Musik, Theater, Film und Vermittlung treten miteinander und mit der interessierten Öffentlichkeit in einen Dialog. Bar, Lounge und Party inklusive. Bar/Lounge – Design Salon  Das Departement Design gestaltete und betrieb die Festivalbar im Foyer des Museums für Gestaltung. Unter dem Titel «Design Salon» wurde der Raum mit Projektionen aus den Vertiefungsrichtungen und Lichtinstallationen des Forschungsprojekts «FARBE&LICHT» bespielt. Der inspirierende Treffpunkt lud vor oder nach dem Besuch der Veranstaltungen zum Austausch und Verweilen ein. Lichtinstallation Für die Beleuchtung des Foyers wurden 5 Farbwechsler City Color 2ˈ500W eingesetzt, die draussen auf dem Trottoir aufgestellt wurden und durch die Fenster den Innenraum beleuchtet haben. Dabei wurde das Schattenbild der charakteristischen Sprossenfenster an die Wände und Decke projiziert. Zusätzlich wurde ein 10ˈ000W Halogenstrahler draussen aufgestellt, der den Treppenaufgang durch ein grosses Sprossenfenster in ähnlicher Weise beleuchtet hat. Dadurch sollte die Charakteristik des Sonnenlichts imitiert werden.
