Description	Experimentieren als Erfahrung, selbstbestimmtes Lernen und Lehren, demokratisches Zusammenleben: Das Black Mountain College (1933–1957) in den USA war ein Ort gelebter Utopie, ein Fluchtpunkt der Moderne und ist bis heute eine Projektionsfläche für gestalterische und gesellschaftliche Ideen. Als Teil des ZHdK-Programms Revisiting Black Mountain blickten Studierende der ZHdK in Projekten, Ausstellungen, Aufführungen und Vorträgen von Studierenden, Lehrenden und Forschenden auf die Verschmelzung von Leben und Kunst. Im Rahmen des Pool-II-Moduls «Mediation zu Revisiting Black Mountain» haben Studierende des Master Art Education Curatorial Studies die Nordwand des Museums für Gestaltung für die Dauer der Ausstellung «Revisiting Black Mountain» kuratiert. Die Nordwand befindet sich in der Eingangshalle im Toni-Areal. Geleitet wurde das Modul von Paolo Bianchi. Der ehemalige Dozentz Peter Radelfinger hat das Happening begleitet. Robert Ashley, Sarah Lütolf und Irina Werner haben zum Modul einen Bericht erstellt, der als PDF angehängt ist. Der Bericht dokumentiert das Modul und wirft einen kuratorischen Blick auf das stattgefundene Happening und die daraus entstandene Ausstellung. Robert Ashley reflektiert den Rollenwechsel des Kuratorinnenteams von Teilnehmenden des Happenings zu Kuratorinnen. Ira Werner beschreibt das ausgestellte Produkt als Werk der Partizipation und hinterfragt die Wertigkeit der partizipativen Arbeit und den kuratorischen Umgang damit. Sarah Lütolf befragt die Teilnehmer*innen nach ihren Erlebnissen während des Happenings. Wir wünschen euch viel Freude beim Lesen!
