- Linking Cultures versteht sich als internationales Austauschprogramm zwischen Studierenden und Dozierenden von Kunst- und Designhochschulen aus Beirut, Berlin, Kairo, Marrakesch und Zürich.
Im Frühjahr 2020 entstand als Reaktion auf die durch die Covid-19-Pandemie genutzten digitalen Austauschmöglichkeiten die Idee einer Kooperation zwischen verschiedenen Design- und Kunsthochschulen aus Nordafrika, dem Nahen Osten und Westeuropa. Aus dieser Idee ist inzwischen ein artikuliertes, gemeinsames Online-Programm hervorgegangen, das nun weiterentwickelt werden soll.
Das Thema der Studierendenprojekte und der Vorlesungsreihe im Frühjahr 2022 lautet «Design as Dissent». In zehn transkulturellen Studierendenteams werden Konzepte entwickelt, die sich die problemlösende Stärke von Design zu Nutze machen und einen Beitrag für Herausforderungen unserer Zeit leisten. Eine öffentliche Vortragsreihe zwischen dem 8. März und dem 19. April begleitet das Programm.
Im Herbstsemester finden sogenannte «Students for Students»-Präsentationen statt, die zum gegenseitigen Verständnis der unterschiedlichen Hochschulen und Studiengänge beitragen.
Für die Weiterentwicklung des Programms soll nun die Online-Präsenz um eine kollaborative Plattform weiterentwickelt und ein physischer Austausch mit Studierenden und Dozierenden organisiert werden. Eine Erweiterung der teilnehmenden Kunst- und Designschulen wird darüber hinaus in Erwägung gezogen.

- This year's degree show of the Master of Fine Arts at the ZHdK draws on the notion of the ‘desired path’ as used in planning and landscape architecture to describe a convenient or accessible path that often avoids or ignores existing infrastructures. Desired Lines highlights the lines we choose over the lines imposed on us. The artworks presented by graduating students are the result of a careful examination of those lines that precede, are accommodated by and lead into and out of institutions of art.

- Strawinskys monumentales «Sacre du Printemps» in der Augustinerkirche in Zürich!
Die Auferweckung der Natur und des Menschen, aber auch die entfesselte Kraft und Energie der Erde sind Thema dieses machtvollen und eindrücklichen Werkes.
Der Choreograf Bryan Arias inszeniert eines der berühmtesten Ballettwerke der Musikgeschichte für den sakralen Raum, es tanzen Studierende des
BA Contemporary Dance der ZHdK.
Frédéric Champion und Merit Eichhorn haben mit einer eigenen Bearbeitung für Orgel vierhändig und vierfüssig mit Perkussion eine neue Version des
Sacre geschaffen.
Mit dem «Boléro» von Maurice Ravel als Vorspiel wird das Tor zu Strawinskys Werk geöffnet.

- Ziel des Praxisprojektes ist es, basierend auf der Idee des Netzwerkmuseums einen «Dritten Ort» im neu zu schaffenden Entréebereich des GRASSI Museum für Völkerkunde zu Leipzig als multifunktionalen und flexiblen Multiplikator*innenraum zu entwerfen. Der Willkommensraum zeigt das neue Gesicht des Museums und dient verschiedenen Akteur*innen aus unterschiedlichen Kontexten als Raum für eigene Projekte zwischen Ausstellungen, für Veranstaltungen oder als Community-Space. Die Umsetzung ist im Herbst 2022 geplant.

- Lira muss an eine wichtige Veranstaltung. Beim Versuch, aus ihrer Wohnung zu gehen, lässt sie sich aber immer wieder ablenken. Was als Freiheit beginnt, sich im Moment zu verlieren, nimmt langsam zwanghafte Züge an: Ein Ringen mit der Zeit, ein Kampf gegen sich selbst. Begleitet vom Gesang der Oper, in der sie eigentlich sitzen müsste.
