- Sehen Sie im Dunkeln, wenn Sie dem Echo Ihres Schreis lauschen? BATVISION versetzt Sie in die Wahrnehmungswelt der Fledermaus und macht die Echo-Ortung der Tiere erlebbar. Die VR-Brille visualisiert das Hörbild der Fledermaus auf eine für uns verständliche Art und Weise. Umgeben von vollständiger Dunkelheit wird die virtuelle Erlebniswelt erst durch den eigenen Schrei sichtbar. BATVISION setzt immersive Technologien ein, um Wissen nicht nur nachvollziehbar, sondern am eigenen Körper erfahrbar zu machen. Damit sensibilisiert uns das VR-Erlebnis für eine vom Aussterben bedrohte Tierart.

- Kabellose Kopfhörer sind durch die Batteriefizierung zu ressourcenintensiven, schwer reparierbaren und kurzlebigen Wegwerfprodukten geworden. Zudem lassen sie sich kaum an unterschiedliche Nutzerbedürfnisse anpassen. Das Konzept von FairPods löst beide Probleme. Der modulare Aufbau garantiert sicheren Halt und optimalen Tragekomfort für jedes Ohr und ermöglicht Erweiterungen für unterschiedliche Tätigkeiten. Sämtliche Komponenten können einfach aktualisiert oder ersetzt werden. FairPods sind komfortabler, individueller nutzbar und dank ihrer langen Lebensdauer nachhaltiger als herkömmliche Kopfhörer.

- Im Auftrag des IKRK entwickelt das Projekt ein bestehendes Prothesensystem für den Einsatz in Krisengebieten weiter. Long Limbs Prosthetics erlaubt einen einfachen Austausch von abgenutzten oder defekten Einzelteilen. Gleichzeitig macht der modulare Aufbau der Prothese eine Anpassung an individuelle Bedürfnisse möglich. Das System besteht aus vier Komponenten: einer Fusshülle aus elastischem Polyurethan in unterschiedlichen Farben und Grössen; einem Kiel, der den Fuss mit dem Gelenk verbindet; einem Sprunggelenk, das den Kiel mit der eigentlichen Beinprothese verbindet; und einer hoch belastbaren Mutter im Innern der Prothese.

- Lumière virante vereint drei signifikante Ebenen des Lichts – Funktion, Biologie und Empfindung – gleichwertig in einer Leuchte. Die Bedienung erfolgt intuitiv und lädt dazu ein, Beleuchtungssituationen im Wohn- und Arbeitsraum aktiv zu beeinflussen. Verschiedene Variablen lassen sich mechanisch justieren, bis das Licht den persönlichen Bedürfnissen entspricht. Kernstück ist ein präzise gefärbter Reflektor, der die kontrollierte Reflexion und Absorbtion verschiedener Wellenlängen des Leuchtmittels möglich macht und sich dadurch positiv auf Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden auswirkt.

- Mikromobilität im Selbstverleih wird immer beliebter. Zahlreiche private Anbieter preisen ihre Konzepte als ökologisch an. Diese sind jedoch alles andere als ökologisch und verursachen zudem diverse Probleme zwischen Benutzern, Anbietern und Öffentlichkeit.
SHAIR begibt sich „outside the box“ und hinterfragt das System ganz grundsätzlich. Die schädliche Batterie wird durch einen Druckluftspeicher ersetzt. Der Elektromotor bleibt. Der Effekt: lange Lebensdauer, kurze Ladezeit. Im Kontext der Mikromobilität erhält der Druckluftantrieb mit SHAIR eine neue Chance.

Hylomate – ein von der Firma Hylomorph entwickelter biosynthetischer Werkstoff – verhindert diese Narbenbildung. Allerdings ist Hylomate wegen seiner adhäsiven Eigenschaften bisher schwer nutzbar. SIMPLX ermöglicht Chirurg*innen den unkomplizierten Einsatz der Hylomate Pouch im Operationssaal. Die asymmetrische Trichterform mit definierten Griffpositionen erfüllt die Ansprüche an Usablity, Sterilität und Ästhetik während sämtlichen Arbeitsschritten.
