- Ein Forschungsprojekt der ETH Zürich untersucht die Abfallbelastung von Flüssen. Der «Bottlespotter» liefert dafür wichtige Daten: Mithilfe einer Bilderkennungssoftware dokumentiert er vorbeischwimmenden Abfall. Die Installation integriert Informationen über das Projekt und weist Passant:innen auf das Problem der Gewässerverschmutzung hin.

Mit den Mitteln des Speculative Design untersucht das Projekt, inwiefern gestaltete Objekte gesellschaftliche Probleme lösen können, und regt zum Nachdenken an.
