- Der Gips wird mit Wasser angemischt. Nachdem der Gips vollständig aufgelöst ist und bevor die Mischung abzubinden beginnt, wird zusätzlich Bicarbonat beigegeben. Die Menge des Bicarbonatpulver beträgt 1/3 des Gewichtes des verwendeten Gipspulvers. Durch das Beifügen und Mischen des Bicarbonats mit dem angerührten Gips beginnt die Masse zu schäumen und sich auszudehnen. Achtung, wenn die Masse anfängt abzubinden verkleinert sich das Volumen um ca. 50%.

- Ein gestricktes Stück aus Kunststoffschnur wurde beidseitig in Ton abgeformt. Die Negativform wurde mit Gips ausgegossen und nach dem Erhärten als Gipspositiv aus der Form genommen.

- Der flüssige Zement fliesst in die poröse Oberfläche des Schaumstoffes. Mit dem Aushärten entsteht dadurch eine
überraschend stabile Verbindung zwischen den beiden Materialien. Der Zement ist farblos, kühl anzufassen, hart
und hat ein hohes Eigengewicht. Der Schaumstoff hingegen zeichnet sich durch seine niedrige Dichte und die
Kompressibilität aus: Er lässt sich zusammendrücken, wirkt durch die eingeschlossene Luft isolierend und ist in
diversen Farben erhältlich. Die Kombination der zwei Materialien macht die jeweiligen Eigenheiten besser erkennbar
und als Objekt fasziniert es durch seine Widersprüchlichkeiten in Optik und Haptik.

- Wir formen die Natur ab und transferieren sie in den Innenraum. Wir stellen daraus Fussbodenplatten aus Beton her. Jede ist individuell und fügt sich zusammen zu einem Ganzen. Ob Konvex oder Konkav: Die Platten bringen Assoziationen zu einer weichen, textilen Oberfläche hervor. Der Fussboden übernimmt kühlende und massierende Funktionen.
