Description	BIOGRAFIE In Bochum geboren, wuchs die gebürtige Deutsch-Französin Marie Cécile Nest in der Schweiz und in Berlin auf. Bereits vor ihrer Ausbildung spielte sie am Burgtheater Wien und an den Wuppertaler Bühnen. Von 2015 bis 2018 war sie festes Ensemblemitglied am ETA Hoffmann Theater Bamberg. Dort arbeitete sie unter anderem mit Niklas Ritter, Hannes Weiler, Cilli Drexel, Stephan Otteni und Susi Weber. Mit der Uraufführung EUROPA VERTEIDIGEN von Konstantin Küspert (Regie: Cilli Drexel) gewann sie 2017 den Günter-Rühle-Preis sowie den Publikumspreis bei den Mülheimer Theatertagen. Seit der Spielzeit 2018/2019 arbeitet Marie Nest als freischaffende Schauspielerin (u.A. Staatstheater Nürnberg, Staatstheater Hannover, Rote Fabrik Zürich, Landestheater Coburg). DIPLOMPROJEKT «This is the rhythm of my life, oh yeah, my life, yeah!» Ihr schenkt uns eure Zeit und wir pendeln uns ein. Ein Spiel mit Rhythmus in Kollektivem Ausdruck. Vier Performerinnen changieren zwischen messbarer und gefühlter Zeit, in der jedes «Ich» erkennt, dass es gleichzeitig ein «WIR» ist. Sie experimentieren mit verschiedenen Formen des Miteinanders – in synchronen, asynchronen, metronomischen, unregelmäßigen oder co-existierenden Rhythmen. Wie viel Anpassung ist notwendig, und wie viel persönlicher Ausdruck kann beibehalten werden? Wie oft schlagen unsere Herzen pro Minute? Die Performerinnen drehen an der Zeit, messen die Zutaten für eine Quiche in genauen Einheiten ab und bewegen sich wie ein Schwarm in eine gemeinsame Richtung. Together we must move like waves. Oh yeah.
