Die Videoperformance ECDYSIS zeigt den fortwährenden Prozess des Verlernens in Form einer medialen Selbstreflexion. Im Video führt die Verletzung am Knie zu einem hohen Leidensdruck, der von der Figur einen neuen Umgang fordert.
Die Künstlerin empfindet die Erarbeitung neuer Strategien und Mechanismen als einen
fragmentarischen Prozess. Im Werk ist Häutung als Sinnbild für die Veränderungen des Seelisch-Psychischen zu verstehen. Solche Veränderungen können in allen Lebensbereichen stattfinden und bedeuten meist eine Entwicklung, im besten Fall einen Lernprozess.
