This work looks at additive mixtures from lights of all different colours, including white light. A picture containing a range of different colours is first projected across an entire wall. By means of a second projection the same image is superimposed with complementary colours. The result is a light picture, the colours of which are extremely reserved.
The observer’s shadow reveals parts of the images and the individual colours contained in them. Two monitors located in the room provide colour orientation at all times. The projection can be scanned to determine its colour composition and through the viewer’s movements it is revealed which colours must be additively combined to obtain white.
