Born and raised in Brazil, Renan started his dance studies at the age of 12, and at 16, in 2011, he became part of the Lamondance Company in Canada. Back in Brazil, he integrated companies Cia Fluxus, Companhia de Dança de Jundiaí, Cia Jovem Tentáculo and Companhia de Dança Cisne Negro. During this time, they also taught classes and choreographed for several dance schools in the state of São Paulo. Renan was also a member of Cinevox Junior Company, Switzerland, and is now part of the Ballett des Stadttheater Bremerhaven, Germany, and will remain in the company for at least another season.
