Immersive Theatre is an emerging theatre genre, an ongoing practice that expands the
established forms of theatre and performance art. It is a form of performance with
events happening in a surrounding environment, commonly in a site-specific space, it
applies multimedia assisted by technologies and with audience engagement. Based on
my audiovisual and performance practice, I will use the sample of immersive theatre
Respbulika by Lukasz Twarkowski to analyze and conclude the sensory aesthetic
from electronic music use in immersive theatre, its spatial perception, public
engagement, and sensory inspirations for artistic work and social impact.
