As one of the most important contemporary artists, Bruce Nauman has become an icon. His vast array of different works was shown in 2018 in a comprehensive retrospective at the Schaulager and Kunstmuseum Basel. Inspired by his work, my work refers to a quote from Nauman: "If I was an artist and I was in the studio, then whatever I was doing in the studio must be art. At this point art became more of an activity and less of a product".
