This concert features compositions for the sensor-augmented electroacoustic flute («Chaosflöte»), being developed at the ZHdK Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology. Each composition will feature live-electronic components that are controlled by the flute’s air and motion sensors, including electronic transformations of the flute’s sound and on-screen visuals. This program explores the meaningful integration of the flute with experimental media as a unified body of art. The result is an intriguing experience of riveting sound textures, captivating visuals, and a new mode of expression.
