«70 trillion» explores a format between lecture-performance and workshop
around the re-enactment of my own body history.
As a choreographer and artist, my main interest is in the body and its movement.
In the last few years, this has led me to explore cellular activity and movement
during the embryological development as the very base of any kind of human
movement and expression. Further, I have found that in these early stages of
human life, moving means perceiving, and perception is movement. This is a
basic idea which inspires my whole research. In my personal practice as a dancer/
mover, and through my research into experiential anatomy, I have come to
a deeper understanding and differentiation of movement and perception. As a
consequence, as part of this project I am developing an «embryo score» as a tool
for dancers and anybody in order to access pre-consciousness with a concious
mind and body.
My body is my tool for understanding. My body provides the possibilities to generate
knowledge and insight. This project aims to make the insights experienced
by the body communicable, and free them of the spell of their ephemerality.
