- Die Nachfrage nach günstigen Beinprothesen in Kenia ist gross, doch fehlte bis anhin ein zufriedenstellendes low-cost Prothesensystem. Die Beinprothese Circleg schliesst diese Lücke. Durch die Verwendung von rezyklierten Kunststoffabfällen in Kombination mit vor Ort bestehenden Produktionsmethoden kann die Beinprothese lokal und kostengünstig hergestellt werden. Der modulare Aufbau ermöglicht das einfache Austauschen und Reparieren verbrauchter Passteile sowie die individuelle Anpassung an den Benutzer. Die Mobilität der Betroffenen im Alltag wird somit erheblich gesteigert.
