Beschreibung	Soziale Medien haben die Welt verändert und beeinflussen gesellschaftliche Normen, Werte und zwischenmenschliche Dynamiken. Ihre rasante Entwicklung wandelt permanent die Art und Weise, wie wir uns selbst inszenieren, darstellen, und präsentieren. Insbesondere in meiner Generation — der Generation Z — spielen Social Media eine essentielle Rolle, da sie genutzt werden um sich innerhalb der Gesellschaft zu positionieren. Likes und Follows werden zum Social Proof und verändern unseren Blick auf andere Menschen. In der fotografischen Arbeit <i>Plastic People</i> manifestiert sich mein Unbehagen gegenüber einer Gesellschaft, in welcher dem Schein eine zunehmend wichtigere Rolle zuteilwird. Anhand des Motivs Schaufensterpuppe, welches sinnbildlich für eine idealisierte und inszenierte Darstellung des Menschen steht, zeige ich die durch soziale Medien provozierte Kommerzialisierung des Individuums und den damit einhergehenden Identitätsverlust.
