I whirr, suck and blow air, desire, whisper in a circle. Until thoughts arise. Your thoughts. I am the space to stage your experiments with the ever-moving wind, and yes, a laminar wind.

- I am a mechanism of reciprocating ladders and stationary platforms installed in mines to assist the miner’s journey to and from their working levels. My ladders move little, my miners move far. Think of the ladders as disciplines, the miners as researchers. I want to be a model, a model for transdisciplinary collaboration.

- We are kinetic sculptures. We connect an instrument on the ground to an airborne kite. We do this with a string, our soul. Through the string sound waves are transmitted from sky to earth, then return upward. The string is moved by the wind, by the human, by the kite. We make music. Or you do. You and the winds. Through us, start a conversation with natural forces. Involve yourself in understanding.
