Taking cues from both physical and online advertising, the four chapters of this exhibition, each lasting roughly 10 days, will display: a pairing of a figure with a text graphic; a short story and an ornate assemblage of recast ashtrays.
I recently read:
“inversion is entangled with masochism because perversion is inevitably entangled with neurosis” ¹
it felt old
it was old
yet the next thing I stumbled on was a promo for a band called: Viagra Boys
I read that inversion is:
a way out that the child discovers
when they are about to suffocate. ²
I feel a psychedelic non-reality of self in our present condition.
I feel to tell the young monster: there is nothing.
ash collectors
memento mori
stasis non-stop
& that’s fine
for me,
for now.

- Halfway down the hallway, my body turns back, turns its back around and walks backwards - to receive a run up to rush forwards again, back to the studio.
What makes the body dance?
Maybe within a nanosecond, all considerations roilingly flutter above my consciousness - whereas I find my arms lifted and stretched, in a line, both sides long for something and alternately swing back and forth.
How long is this whipping going on?
- Halfway down the hallway, my body turns back, turns its back around and walks backwards - to receive a run up to rush forwards again, back to the studio.
