A liquid transparent body hangs in an enclosure hidden from the eyes of the visitor. Its presence propagates into the room as the light shines through the body into the ceiling of the room. The body begins to move as visitors influence the light atmosphere through their presence. The forces of gravity and electricity run through the body, activating it from within. In a repetitive organic motion, different parts of its transparent surface tense, expand and contract. Struggling under the weight and motion of its liquid, the body is brought into crisis and possibly destroyed. The audience perceives and influences this process only indirectly while immersed in the luminous and sonic space. The light shifts from sharp projection of the body’s details on the ceiling to blurry shades pouring over the walls. The proximity of the hidden body and the immersive character of the installation create intimacy, while the walled enclosure and sonic atmosphere create a sense of distance.
