To develop this play, four children (9–11) asked themselves a question: what did adults not expect from them? What could they as children do to break out of the expectations of the adult world, what could they do on stage? And how would the artistic process between the children and the people directing them change if they looked at what positions are tied to what expectations and positions of power? "A Secret Play" is a colourful, wicked, anarchic play written and acted by children for adults.
