Beschreibung	My work is about modes of being a spectator and modes of making spaces for relations and thinking in the performer-spectator-community of today. It is about looking at the potential and importance of this community across various disciplines and categorizations. During my Master‘s, I have created a series of artistic laboratories and events in order to investigate different modes for the spectator to be and think in the live event, rather than to talk about participation and interaction. This also involves investigating modes of production inside and around, but that are not necessarily restricted to, the institution of the performing arts. My investigations have led to the three modalities of hanging, grooving, and strolling, which point to a social and durational way of spectating. My work reflects on a discourse on the politics of perception and on the role of the spectator in an event, linking to the works of various artists and writers, such as Mårten Spångberg, Jaques Rancière, and Henri Lefebre. My work is closely related to contemporary culture and society and an ongoing change of spectating and producing space in the multi-tasking, hyper-technological stage of interactions, while still adressing the potential and importance of the gathering of spectators and performers in the live-event.
