In der Kleinstadt St.Gallen befindet sich ein Seniorenkaffee, das sich seit 27 Jahren kaum verändert hat. Die eigenwillige Dekoration, und die beruhigende Hintergrundmusik laden zum Verweilen ein. Als Ein-Mann-Betrieb bietet Vogel nicht nur Kaffee und Verpflegung an, auch Gesundheitstipps und Blutdruckmesser sind im Angebot. Doch Vogel will sich pensionieren lassen, wodurch die Senioren ihr heimeliges Kaffee verlieren. Noch ein letztes Mal will Vogel mit seinen Gästen das traditionelle Weihnachtssingen durchführen.
In the small swiss town of St.Gallen there is a café for seniors that hasn’t changed in over 27 years. The calming background music is as inviting as the extraordinary decoration. Being a one man operation, the host Ernst Vogel doesn’t only offer coffee and cake, also blood pressure monitors can be ordered over the counter. Soon Vogel will retire and his aging guests will lose their cosy café. One last time Vogel will sing carols and celebrate christmas with his regulars.
